Smash Deals - Returns and Refund Policy

1. ReturnsAt Smash Deals, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction. Since we are a multivendor platform, return policies may vary by seller. Please review the seller’s return policy before purchasing. However, general return guidelines are as follows:

  • Returns must be requested within 7 days of delivery.

  • Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as received.

  • Certain products, such as [non-returnable items like perishable goods, software, intimate apparel, etc.], may not be eligible for returns.

To initiate a return, contact the seller directly through our platform. If the seller does not respond within 7 days, you may escalate the issue to our customer support team at support@smashdeals.co.za.

2. Refunds & FeesRefunds are processed based on the seller’s return policy. Once the seller receives and inspects the returned item, they will determine eligibility for a refund.

  • If approved, the refund will be processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method.

  • If a refund is requested without a valid reason (e.g., change of mind), the customer will be charged a delivery and stock fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount.

  • Shipping fees are [non-refundable/refundable under certain conditions].

  • If the seller rejects the return, Smash Deals may intervene to mediate the dispute.

3. ExchangesExchanges are subject to the seller’s policy. If you receive a defective or incorrect item, you may request an exchange directly from the seller. If the seller does not resolve the issue, contact our support team at support@smashdeals.co.za.

4. Late or Missing RefundsIf you have not received your refund:

  • Check with your bank or payment provider, as processing times may vary.

  • If it has been longer than 7 business days, contact the seller or escalate the issue to Smash Deals support.

5. Return Shipping

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the seller’s policy states otherwise or the item is incorrect/defective.

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure your return reaches the seller.
